Our friend PJ, a joiner and brick layer in his late 20's who we found sleeping on the side of a pavement in a busy part of Manchester.  While eating a sandwich we gave him he told us he was  Struggling with Mental health & schizophrenia, and  he has been told he's not vulnerable enough in Mayor Andy Burnhams Manchester.   ADDICT SMITH Hopes PJ keeps safe, and finds food and shelter and support that any human-being is entitled to receive.

Our mate Dave the Homeless Man

Check out this great video of DAVE a man who paid in to the system, Has faced his adversaries and just needs somewhere to live so he can sleep safe.

    Forgotten Folk

We  are currently filming and interviewing numerous homeless people and with their permission we will publish these interviews online  so they can verify their experience.  These interviews and other information will soon be live.

Homelessness is not an election winning  strategy it's a real life tragedy.
Stephen Smith now 78 years old is prepared to repeat his 1997 BBC documentary exploits and live again on the streets of Manchester for 16 days and nights.

    The forgotten Folk

If Andy Burnham really wants to eradicate homelessness let him sleep alongside Stephen for sixteen days and nights in a shop doorway. Wash in public toilets , eat from dustbins and go to the toilet on a waste site.

Abandoned buildings such as this one could be acquired by the council and used to provide shelter and warmth for the many homeless on the streets of Greater Manchester.
